Lost pharaoh eagle owl found

Isis the rare pharaoh eagle owl, released with ten other birds last Thursday when vandals broke into the Suffolk Owl Sanctuary, has been found.

The eagle owl was seen on Friday on a bird table at a house near Pettaugh and later a call was made to the sanctuary with another sighting.

Falconer Matt Lott was called out and tempted the bird back with food.

A sanctuary spokesman said: "He was in good condition but he was very hungry."
