Potentially life-saving advice was on offer in Starston at the weekend as dozens attended a free event.

Hosted by the Waveney Valley First Responders , dozens attended to learn about CPR, how to use a defibrillator, put people into the recovery position and how to help someone who is choking.

Shaun Button, group co-ordinator of the responders, said: “It went very well, and we had a steady turnover of people throughout the day.

“The one thing that really put a smile on our faces was the amount of young children who came along, had a go, and asked lots of questions.”
