Having read the report regarding the proposed plans of the company wishing to provide power via an array of photo voltaic panels, I regard the negative intrusion of the objectors as a retardant act to interfere with what will be a great step forward to make good use of low grade land.

It will be interesting to learn of the reaction among the objectors when the Russians turn off their gas supply to Europe in reaction to the EU regarding their involvement in the Ukraine.

It is the duty of the various authorities to do everything possible to ensure that our future provision of energy takes us out of the need to rely on outside suppliers. They should also bear in mind that every pathetic protest group, by their actions to delay progress towards our power for the future, are simply building higher costs for when it is eventually developed.

The objections to the planned scheme should pay attention to the Dutch actions on renewables and accept that it is far more practical to remove the risk of dependence on unreliable outside suppliers for our power needs.
