We are puzzled by Paul Scripps’ comments that Park Radio may be causing interference on FM to Radio Caroline and BBC Radio 4 (Letters, July 24).
Park Radio hasn’t actually broadcasted since December, 2012, so we doubt that we could cause any problems, even more so as Caroline is now an internet-only station.
However, Park Radio do plan to be back on-air either late 2015 or early in 2016, following the recent award of our five-year Community Radio licence to serve Diss, Eye and Harleston. Our FM frequency will in fact be decided by Ofcom to ensure that there is no interference to any other station. It is extremely doubtful that our very low powered signal as a local station will cause any problem for Radio 4 or similar in this area.
