A piece of friendly advice for Long Stratton Barclays Bank customers considering the Diss branch, don’t rely too heavily on the one hour free parking in town, the branch never has more than two cashiers on.

On Friday morning, while in a queue of 15 people, a young lady circulated asking if she could assist, but when a lady politely suggested opening another cashier point, she seemed put out. Sadly, this is symptomatic of the electronic times we now live in, the less customer face to face contact the better.

On a more positive note, I’m sure the shopping experience in Diss, will compensate for the inconvenience of having to change banks.
