A woman has been airlifted to hospital with a serious leg injury after getting her foot caught in what is thought to be a garden rotovator.
The woman, believed to be in her 40s, is not thought to be in a life threatening condition.
The ambulance service was called at 3.21pm on Tuesday to Flordon Road, Newton Flotman, and the East Anglian Air Ambulance was also mobilised.
Paramedic Officer, Steve Hill, who attended the scene said: “We quickly administered pain relief and worked closely with the fire service to ensure she was freed safely.
“Crews were on scene for more than an hour and the woman was airlifted to the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital where her condition is not thought to be life threatening.”
Fire crews also helped free the woman from the machine.
