A woman was taken to hospital in a life threatening condition after she suffered a cardiac arrest while in the bath on Friday.
The ambulance service responded to the incident, at a residential property in Tibenham, just before 11.30am.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said: “We received a 999 call at 11.22am to reports that a woman had stopped breathing. We sent an ambulance, an ambulance officer, and the East Anglian Air Ambulance to the scene.
“The woman had received CPR from someone on scene prior to the arrival of the ambulance service.
“Crews then took over the resuscitation process and were able to get her heart beating again.
“She was taken in an ambulance on blue lights to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital, accompanied by the air ambulance critical care medics, and on arrival at hospital her condition was still believed to be life-threatening.”
