Woman hospitalised after car hits tree in Starston

A woman has been taken to hospital after her car hit a tree in Starston this morning.

Fire crews from Long Stratton, Harleston and Diss cut the woman free after the collision, involving a Vauxhall, in Hardwick Road. Emergency services found that the car had rolled over.

The casualty was taken to hospital with abdominal bruising. The East Anglian Air Ambulance was also in attendance.

The road was closed in both directions as recovery took place, but is now clear.
