BBC Look East presenter Stewart White officially opened the 50 Christmas Trees in a Church at All Saints, Dickleburgh, on Sunday.

Now in its tenth year, the theme is ‘Nativity’ and the festival is supporting Marie Curie Cancer.

Fourteen of the organisations which took part in the first festival in 2004 entered trees again this year, with visitors voting for their favourites.

Event organiser Reverend Norman Steer will be stepping down from the role after running all ten festivals so far. He said: “The best part is the smiles on the faces of all ages when they leave.”

The festival continues until Sunday, opening from 10am to 7pm daily, but closing at 4pm on Sunday for prizegiving, See www.50christmastrees.com
