A former Diss resident has endured three hours of pain to raise funds for the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

Lawrence Hain returned to the town on Friday to complete his fundraising challenge by getting an air ambulance helicopter tattooed on his chest.

Mr Hain, who was joined by his family at Pigmental Tattoos in Chapel Street, said he wanted to do something quirky.

“When he first started it wasn’t too bad but it got more painful as he went on,” he said.
