Hundreds of people flocked to and filled a village green for the annual August Bank Holiday fete this afternoon.
The event in New Buckenham has been running for nearly 60 years, and it has been staged on the green for about 30 years.
Attractions this year included hoopla, a coconut shy, a performance by the New Buckenham Silver Band, a raffle with myriad prizes, food-sellers, a second-hand clothes stall, skittles, and plate-smashing.
Clive Rush, one of the organisers, said: “I think people of all ages really like coming here because there are no gimmicks - it’s just good, old-fashioned fun.”
Funds raised at the fete go to community groups and causes.
