Scole resident Duncan Slater made history in December, becoming the first double amputee to walk to the South Pole as part of a fundraising challenge for Walking with the Wounded.

In part two of his interview with the Diss Express, Duncan talks a typical day in Antarctica, being delayed in South Africa before the start of the expedition, and how he coped in the extreme conditions.
