Shoppers at the Tesco store in Diss got more than they bargained for on Saturday as the superstore held a ‘Dance for Diabetes’ event to raise money for charity.
LK’s School of Dance, based in Norfolk, offered demonstrations before the Cha Cha slide, which was open to members of the public and staff in a bid to raise money for Diabetes UK.
Just under £250 was raised from the event.
Better service manager at the store, Karen Sargent, told the Diss Express: “It was a really great day and good atmosphere, and we had fantastic support from LK’s School of Dance.
“I am so pleased with how it went.”
