A van containing work tools has been stolen in Diss, prompting police to appeal for witnesses.

On Tuesday, May 13, at around 4.40pm, an offender stole the van containing the tools, from a driveway in Walcot Road.

The vehicle is described as a Ford Transit dropside van with a white cab and an aluminium tipper.

The registration is NA07 BHW and the bonnet and doors are panel written with the name J Scott Builders and a contact telephone number.

Several passers-by helped to collect tools from the road that had fallen from the van, which was last seen driving along Uplands Way in the direction of Skelton Road.

Officers would like any witnesses to the incident to come forward, including individuals who helped to collect items from the roadside or anyone who can supply information regarding the whereabouts of the vehicle.
