The case for a 21-year-old Framlingham man charged with burglary and theft in relation to two incidents that happened at St Michael’s Church in Framlingham in February has been adjourned until April 29.

Jamie Corby, of Fore Street, was arrested on March 1 by police after several incidents at the church.

He was subsequently charged with stealing a handbag, containing a purse, cash, cards and a mobile phone, to the value of over £540, from a pew around lunchtime on Friday, February 7 and with burglary with intent to steal on Friday, February 28.

He was due to appear before Lowestoft Magistrates on Tuesday.
