Two women arrested on suspicion of assault following an incident in Diss
Two women have been arrested on suspicion of assault following an incident in Diss on Friday afternoon.
The incident happened in Mere Street between 2.10pm and 2.20pm.
An altercation took place between four people, three women and a man, which resulted in one woman in her 30s sustaining bruising to her face and the man, aged 70, had a cut to the top of the head.
Two women, a 44-year-old from Diss and a 43-year-old from the Attleborough area, were arrested and taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
They have been released on bail until the end of March while further enquiries are carried out.
