The Terminator has come to Diss!

Scrap metal merchant Pete Gillings found this replica robot in Ipswich, and couldn’t resist bringing it back to Norfolk.

Now acting as gate mascot at Mr Gillings’ Mission Road scrapyard, the futuristic metal machine - which lights up - is sure to keep trouble at bay with its replica M134 Minigun.

The robot appears be based on the cyborg character played by Arnold Schwarzenegger in The Terminator films.

Mr Gillings said: “As soon as I saw the robot, I thought, ‘how can you let something like this go to waste?’”
