Stradbroke pupils beat the winter blues
Pupils at Stradbroke Primary School enjoyed a lunchtime with a difference in a bid to beat the winter blues.
The children took in their favourite woolly hats to wear, and enjoyed a traditional toad in the hole lunch, followed by double chocolate chip sponge and custard.
Acting headteacher Linda Walsh said pupils enjoyed wearing their hats, some of which looked funny but cosy.
Next week the school will be taking part in Safer Internet Day, with a focus theme of connect with respect, when the children will be learning about communicating safely and considering others.
The school will then be preparing for World Book Week when storyteller Paul Jackson will visit the school to work with different classes.
