A sequence of burglaries from sheds, barns and garages in central Suffolk took place between Wednesday, June 25 and Thursday, June 26, setting off a police appeal for information.
The first two incidents, which both occurred on Top Road in Fressingfield between 6pm last Wednesday and 7am last Thursday, resulted in the theft of a STIHL chainsaw, a hammer and multiple screwdrivers after a shed and garage were independently broken into.
Two male teenagers wearing black hooded tops were in the vicinity of the incident around this time and are said to have been acting suspiciously.
In another set of incidents, all of which happened on Top Road in Wingfield between 8pm last Wednesday and 9am last Thursday, a red Honda C90 moped with the registration number R405WHJ was stolen from a garage, and an unknown amount of cash was stolen from a vehicle parked on a driveway.
Two more barns on the road were also entered, although no items are believed to have been taken. It has not yet been determined whether or not all of these incidents are linked.
Anybody who witnessed anything suspicious in these areas or who has information about any of the incidents should contact PC Gary Hopkins at Stowmarket on 101, quoting the reference ST/14/1762, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
