South Norfolk man arrested on suspicion of drink driving

A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving following a road accident in East Harling.

Police and fire crews were called to Quidenham Road at about 11.05pm yesterday after a van left the road.

Police arrived at the scene to find the driver was missing.

A 36-year-old man from the Long Stratton area was later found and arrested on suspicion of drink driving.

He remains in police custody.

Fire crews from East Harling and Attleborough made the vehicle and scene safe.
