Sing-a-long at Six Bells, Gislingham remembers D-Day landings

The Six Bells, Gislingham, remembered the fallen soldiers of the Normandy landings on Friday, June 6 with a 1944 style sing-along around the pub’s piano, which was played by Peter Lucas.

Both customers and staff dressed in vintage style clothing to set the tone for the event, on the 70th anniversary of the infamous landings.

A raffle was also held on the evening, the main prize a Pimms hamper donated by the pub, with all proceeds from the event going to the local Royal British Legion.
