Action for Children is calling on cyclists of all ages and abilities to take part in a sponsored ride at one of the world’s most iconic motor racing venues.
The charity is looking for cyclists to complete as many laps of the three mile circuit at Snetterton race track in two hours to raise money for vulnerable children and young people.
The event is being held next Friday, September 13, from 5.15pm onwards.
Adults are asked to pay £10 to take part, while children under 16 can take part for free, but must be with a participating adult.
Cyclists are also encouraged to raise a minimum of £50 sponsorship and all the proceeds will go towards supporting Action for Children’s work locally and across the UK.
Selena Goldsmith, Action for Children partnership fundraiser, said: “The events will be a great family evening out, and will help make a life-changing difference to disadvantaged and vulnerable children, young people and their families.”
People are welcome to take along a picnic and watch the action and refreshments will also be available to buy.
Competitors are asked to register before the event at www.actionforchildren.org.uk/get-involved/events.
