Some of the wonderful listed buildings in Eye will be shown today and continuing throughout the weekend as part of the English Heritage open days.
The parish church will have guided information on Saturday and Sunday, and the Vine Church, normally only open for worship, will be open on Saturday.
Also open on Saturday is the town hall who will be showing town pictures and some of the Mayor’s regalia, as well as having a display featuring the restoration work done at Eye Castle. All these events take place from 2pm until 5pm.
The Bank will be building a scale model, and there’s a chance to view their latest exhibition. The Bank is open today and tomorrow from 10am to 3pm.
Our shops will all be open as well as our award-winning pub.
We have 160 listings in Eye, almost as many as Lavenham, and almost double the number in Debenham.
