Children from Scole Primary School have been learning about disability sports as part of their PE curriculum.
The whole school took part in the two day event, which featured a visit from local Paralympic athlete Danny Nobbs, who led an assembly for the children.
The event was designed to increase the pupil’s awareness and understanding of disability and to inspire more children to become active, having understood that everyone can take part in sport.
Each class took turns to take part in a range of sports including goalball, sitting volleyball, boccia, and a number of visually impaired challenges.
Each challenge was designed to give the children a better understanding of disability sport. They focused on what could be achieved despite challenges. The school said it was a positive and enjoyable experience for the children.
