Many schools across south Norfolk and north Suffolk are closed or partially closed today due to a day of strike action by teachers.
Members of the two biggest teaching unions, the NUT and NASUWT, are striking in a dispute over pay, pensions and their workloads.
The schools affected today, according to Norfolk and Suffolk county councils are:
Archbishop Sancroft High School (Harleston) - Closed due to industrial action apart from those in Year 11.
ttleborough High School - School is closed to Year 7, Year 8, Year 9 and Year 10 students only. Year 11 and all Sixth Form students will be expected in with a later start of 8.50am.
Attleborough Infant School - School closed for strike action.
Chapel Road School - School is partially closed due to strike action. School open for classes 2, 3, 4 and 6 but closed for classes 1,5 and 7. Parents and carers have been told.
Diss High School - Closed to Years 7-11 due to industrial action. Open to Sixth Form for private study.
Harleston Primary School - Closed.
Hempnall Primary School - Closed except for CONIFER class.
St Andrew’s Primary (North Lopham) - Closed to Victory class all day, Discovery class closed all morning.
Stradbroke High School - Closed apart from Year 10 and Year 11.
Thorndon Primary School - Closed
Weatheringsett CEVCP School - Years 1,3,4 closed all day, Year 2 finish at lunch.
