Road traffic collision on A140 leaves man trapped in van
A road traffic collision involving three vehicles on the A140 in north Suffolk resulted in a man being trapped in his van.
The incident happened at about 3pm yesterday adjacent to the turning into Yaxley.
Fire appliances from Eye, Stradbroke and Diss were sent to the scene.
Crews arrived to find an road traffic collision involving a silver Vauxhall Combo van, a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van and a lorry.
A was released from the Vauxhall by the fire service, and put in the care of the ambulance service.
His injuries are not thought to be life-changing or life-threatening.
The fire crews were finished at the scene by 4.40pm, but the police stayed on scene as the lorry needed to be recovered.
The road re-opened in both directions several hours later.
