In response to the article in brief, (Diss Express, May 30), on planning application 2014/0831 - land at Glebe Farm, Pulham St Mary

The Parish Council would like to clarify, they are not unhappy with development of this site, only with the current application.

Being within close proximity to historic buildings, the council is conscious that the application will reflect upon the character of the village and therefore they consider the current application could be improved.

The Parish Council also raised concerns on the application’s proposed layout not fully allowing for access and turning facilities for emergency vehicles, refuse collection, utility and delivery vehicles.

Lisa Aston

Clerk to Pulham St Mary

Parish Council
