Pulham Market held its annual carnival on Saturday with a parade and activities on the green.
The floats and walking entrants in the parade, which was led by the Southwold and Reydon Brass Band, followed this year’s carnival theme of Superheroes, with Batman and Robin and several Spidermen making an appearance.
The winner of the best adult float competition was the Pulham Players, while the prize for the best children’s float was shared by Pulham Primary School and the Pulhams Playgroup.
Activities on the green included a prize draw, stalls and games and a bungee trampoline.
Chairman of the organising committee, John Bradford said the carnival was in its 42nd year and had never missed a year. “It’s nice to keep it going, but we could do with more floats next year. We were slightly down on visitor numbers this year, probably due to the cold weather.”
A small profit was made which will be donated to a village cause.
