Police appeal for information after string of burglaries in Stoke Ash and Eye

Police are appealing for information after a number of burglaries, and one attempted burglary, in the Diss Express area.

Three burglaries took place in Roman Way, Stoke Ash. The first, where jewellery was stolen, took place between 3pm on Friday, May 2 and 3pm the following day.

The second happened between 10.30am on Saturday, May 3, and 12pm on Sunday, May 4. An offender has broken into the property, made an untidy search and stolen a musket shotgun, jewellery and a Toshiba laptop.

The third is thought to have occurred between 3pm on Friday, May 2 and 3pm on Sunday, May 4. It it not known whether anything has been taken at this stage.

A further burglary took place in Lambseth Street, Eye, where a property was broken into between 1.30am and 7am on Monday, May 5. A number of items were stolen, including cash and cards, keys, a Garmin sat nav, tools, and a tan coloured leather handbag.

There was also an attempted burglary in Redgrave, at a property in The Street, between 5pm on Sunday, May 4 and 1pm on Monday, May 5. An offender had attempted to gain entry but was unsuccessful.
