A serious road traffic collision which left a motorcyclist with serious injuries in Wortwell yesterday evening has prompted police to appeal for witnesses.
At around 6.30pm on Thursday evening, a grey Audi and a silver Yamaha motorcycle were involved in a collision on the A143 Bungay Road at the B1062 Flixton Road junction.
The 44-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital by ambulance suffering a broken arm and serious head injuries.
A 50-year-old male driving the car also suffered shock.
Officers want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the accident, or saw the manner in which the vehicles were driving before the collision.
Police would particularly like to speak to a witness who was driving behind the motorcycle just before the accident, who turned right towards Alburgh prior to the B1062 junction.
Anyone with information should contact PC Sharon Taylor at Wymondham Roads Policing on 101.
