Pedestrian killed after van collision on B1111 named as Paul Bruce of Barningham

A man who died after being struck by a van on the B1111 last night has been named by police as 56-year-old Paul Bruce, of Barningham.

Police were called shortly before 8pm by the ambulance service who were at the scene of a collision between a pedestrian and a Vauxhall van on the B1111 in Barningham near the junction with Chare Road.

A male pedestrian had been hit by the vehicle and died at the scene.

The road was closed off whilst the incident was dealt with and officers commenced a collision investigation.

Any witnesses to the incident are asked to contact PC Dean Webb at the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 101.
