Students of Archbishop Sancroft High School and Harleston Primary School enjoyed an Olympic treat when two of Team GB’s handball stars visited Harleston earlier this month.

Captain Bobby White and teammate Mark Hawkins lead workshops on the new Family Inclusive Sports Area (FISA) located on the recreation ground, which incorporates interactive and non-electronic games including Street Snooker and the first UK installation of the Crossbar King, inspired by Soccer AM’s crossbar challenge.

Harleston Town Clerk Margot Harbour said: “The response from both schools about the new facility has been positive and they have been very enthusiastic about the pupils having the opportunity to meet Olympians.”

The facility, funded by Section 106 money, is free to use to the public.
