A pair of elephants have caused quite a stir at a Diss auction room.

Tomorrow, TW Gaze will auction off two decorated elephants, which were originally auctioned off in Diss in 2008.

A herd of elephants on the Go Elephants! trail in Norwich were put up for auction.

A pair from that group have spent their time at the South Norfolk Youth Academy in Attleborough, who bought them in support of the fundraising efforts of the Go Elephants! campaign.

Now in need of funds themselves, the academy is looking to re-sell the elephants.

The elephants have been on display for a couple of weeks at the auction rooms, in Roydon Road.

They are due to go under the hammer tomorrow as part of the Gallery sale.

Each elephant carries a pre-auction estimate of between £1,500-£2,000.

The Gallery Sale auction will carry feature artworks and sculptures from between the 18th and 21st centuries, and is on view to the public from 10am to 6pm today, and from 8.30am tomorrow morning.
