How about a giant Yorkshire pudding, filled with 13 different types of sausage, with mash, gravy and fried onions - all washed down with a pint of real ale?

That gut-busting feast was on offer at the King’s Head pub in North Lopham over the Easter Weekend, as it held its now-traditional Sizz-Ale festival.

A celebration of some the amazing varieties of sausage available, with most sourced locally, it also offered beer fans 12 different ales to try.

Although the 13 sausage dish, known as the ‘Sausage Champion’ was a firm favourite, those with more modest appetities could have a simple sausage baguette, or engage in a sausage tasting.

Landlady Angie Estcourt said that the spicier sausages went down well with punters, with a mango and ginger pork sausage the quickest to sell out.

The next Sizz-Ale is August Bank Holiday - running from August 23 to 25.
