Two motorcycle riders were taken to hospital after a collision on the A143 at Botesdale last Friday morning.
It happened at about 5.40am and involved two Honda motorcycles.
Police, ambulance and a volunteer doctor from Suffolk Accident Rescue Service attended the scene.
Both male riders of the motorcycles sustained serious injuries, one is described as possibly life changing injuries.
Both have been taken to the West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds.
The A143 is currently closed between Mill Road and Bury Road and diversions are in place.
The road is expected to re-open by 10am.
