Mere walk would devalue offices

A boardwalk around Diss Mere would knock £40,000 off the value of the town council offices in Market Hill, according to a survey.

The proposed scheme, is part of a potential multi-million pound Heritage Triangle project for Diss.

Mayor Graham Minshull said the value would only be a factor if they wanted to sell their offices, and the information was only for noting for now.

Mr Minshull said that although more office space is likely to be needed in the future, it will not be a problem for many years.
