A man had to be cut free by fire crews after a two-car collision in Garboldisham this afternoon.

He and another person have been taken to West Suffolk General Hospital to be treated for injuries described as “slight” by an ambulance spokesperson.

The incident happened just after noon, with emergency services responding to reports of a crash between a Toyota Land Cruiser and Ford Galaxy in Harling Road, Garboldisham.

Fire crews from Thetford and Attleborough attended, and cut the man free from the Galaxy using hydraulic rescue equipment.
