An inquest has heard that a man discovered dead at an unlocked home had been deceased for some time.
Stuart Furness, 53, was found by police at his address, Perseverance House, The Street in Scole, on August 30.
Police investigated following a call from the landlord and found the body of a male in the bedroom.
A statement from the Norwich Coroner’s Court said: “Sadly he had clearly been deceased for some time and formal identification of Mr Furness was established from a palm print.”
The inquest was opened yesterday by assistant coroner Jacqueline Lake and adjourned to a date to be fixed pending the results of further enquiries and investigations.
