Man charged in connection with Attleborough laptop burglary

A man has been charged with burglary offences following incidents in south Norfolk and Breckland.

Neil Hewitt, 37, of Park Close, Wymondham, faces two counts of burglary, one of which in connection to an incident in Queens Square, Attleborough, where a laptop was stolen on Thursday.

The first charge is in relation to an incident on the same day, where he is accused of entering a home in London Road, Suton, near Wymondham, with intent to steal.

Hewitt was arrested on Friday and question by police at Wymondham where he was remanded in custody overnight before appearing at Norwich Magistrates Court on Saturday.

He was remanded in custody and will appear in court again on Monday 6 January 2014.
