Major roads in Norfolk and Suffolk closed today
Major roads in Norfolk and Suffolk will be closed for several hours today as an abnormal load passes through the counties.
Parts of a crane are being transported between Great Yarmouth and Felixstowe between 10am and 2pm, travelling along the A47, A11 and A14.
This will result in the closure of the A47 Acle Straight from 10am, and the A11 will be closed between Thetford and Barton Mills Fiveways roundabout at midday.
Drivers should expect delays and traffic congestion, and avoid these routes where possible as there will be no overtaking the load.
