Lophams’ market celebrates 12 years
Lopham's Farmers Market. Karen Nethercott of Samphire sells a pie to Joe Pattison.
The monthly Lophams’ Farmers’ Market celebrated its 12th birthday on Saturday with champagne for one lucky regular shopper.
The markets, held on the fourth Saturday of every month, are run by volunteers to raise funds for the Lophams’ Village Hall.
Saturday’s market saw 17 vendors offering high quality, reasonably-priced local produce ranging from a variety of meats and vegetables to award-winning farmhouse cheeses, honeys and preserves.
The next market is on March 23.
