Last week we featured Conkers Class at Long Stratton’s Manor Field Infant and Nursery School where the reception children have been travelling far and wide in their lessons - first into space and then to the freezing climes of the South Pole.
Pictured today is Acorns Class, who follow the same topics as Conkers Class.
Their current chilly topic is based on a story called Lost and Found of a boy and a penguin who go to Antarctica. The children settled into school life by looking at space and building rockets in their role play area. Next term they will visit a local farm. Pictured with the children are teacher Jess Stanley-Jones and student helper Karry Larkin.
