Santa Claus really was coming to town in Harleston at the weekend.
Taking time out from his busy pre-Christmas schedule, he arrived on his sleigh to see the local children in his grotto in Market Place on Saturday and give them an early present.
Carol Wiles, who helped organise the event and is part of the events group of the Harleston’s Future team, said: “It was lovely to see the little children’s faces. One child said he didn’t believe in Father Christmas, but after seeing him and his sleigh, he said it was the real Father Christmas.”
Mendham and Metfield Choir sung carols in the town during the morning and there was street food, from the Lush Pizza Company and pulled pork rolls by The Catering Company.
