In Redgrave Church, Mere Players produced a poignant show in memory of 24 Soldiers from the area who were killed in the First World War.

There were stories about each man, poems, songs, hymns, battles and a visit to a music hall.

It was extremely well performed, sad, yet vibrant. There was also an exhibition of cards, letters, envelopes and stamps with notes of what happened during the War, very interesting and informative, I learnt a lot.

The old church with the war memorial was the ideal place, very many thanks to all for an instructively entertaining evening.
