Hoxne pupils help celebrate 90th birthday

St Edmund’s Primary School in Hoxne helped mark the 90th birthday of former headteacher Margaret Thompson last Sunday.

The pupils and current headteacher Andrew Aalders-Dunthorne were attending St Peter and St Paul church for Education Sunday which celebrates all those in education.

Pupils (from left) Lucy Haddock-Williams, Hattie Foote and Daniel Haddock-Williams presented Mrs Thompson with a painting of their school by pupil Edward Brice which was signed by all the pupils and staff of 2013.
