Grant for rugby club junior changing rooms

Diss Rugby Club has received a £12,000 grant from South Norfolk Council to help provide changing facilities for its junior players in its clubhouse.

The improved changing facilities are part of a £608,000 major refurbishment project at the club in Bellrope Lane, Roydon, which has been financed through grants and gifts from bodies such as the RFU, and donations and loans from club members.

Project co-ordinator Terry Cracknell said the club was still looking for around a further £10,000 in funding to bring the junior changing rooms part of the project to completion.
