Framlingham school pupils enjoy science-themed week

Pupils at Brandeston Hall, Framlingham, enjoyed a science-themed week towards the end of June.

The week was full of a variety of activities and included trips Benacre Estate, Minsmere, Dinosaur Adventure Land and Colchester Zoo Cambridge Botanical Gardens as well as the Science and Natural History Museum.

The school had visits from the Shooting Stars-Science of the Circus show, which centred on the science of circus skills.

Year 6 and Year 7 undertook a CSI investigation complete CSI suits and masks with to find out who murdered Mr X, while pupils in Year 3 through to Year 7 completed various K’NEX challenges such as bridge and moon buggy construction. Year 6 also had a fantastic afternoon at Framlingham College, hosted by members of the College’s science department, where various activities from rockets to bread making and collapsing cola cans were undertaken.
