A north Suffolk town is calling on its residents to love their local market as part of a national campaign.
Framlingham Town Council’s regular Saturday and Tuesday markets will take part in the Love Your Local Market campaign, led by the National Association of British Market Authorities (NAMBA).
It is also backed by central government, and the wider market industry.
The aim of the project is to attract new market traders, as well as highlight the importance of markets in small communities and town centres.
Markets are being held in the town on Saturday May 17 and 24, and Tuesday 20 and 27. Music and entertainment will be on offer, as well as special offers on the day.
There are also free charity and young persons pitches available for the Tuesday markets.
