Firefighters from the Eye Fire Station took to the circuits on Sunday, June 1 in aid of the Fire Fighters charity.

Team Eye, accompanied by friends and family members, joined Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service at Holbrook Fire Station to complete challenging countryside routes across Suffolk and Essex.

The troop travelled 648 miles collectively, altogether raising around £400 for the charity.

Special plaudits were given to the children who participated, with 12-year-old Mathew Tatum finishing a 100-mile road circuit, while siblings Clarice and Christopher, as well as Melita Gosling, all aged nine, completed mountain biking and road courses, respectively.
