Diss slimming consultant celebrates with The Only Way is Essex star Mark Wright at awards ceremony
A Slimming World Consultant from Diss was thrilled to meet The Only Way is Essex star Mark Wright at an awards ceremony in Birmingham.
Karen Inns, who runs slimming groups in Rickinghall, Harling and Watton, posed for a photo with the ITV star along with other local consultants at Slimming World’s annual ceremony for its most successful slimmers.
Mr Wright, who shot to fame on The Only Way is Essex before taking to the jungle as a contestant in I’m a Celebritty Get Me Out of Here, joined Slimming World’s founder Margaret Miles-Bramwell OBE to host the ceremony.
He said: “Presenting the Slimming World awards was a real honour. I was absolutely blown away by the people who joined us on stage. I couldn’t believe how much weight they’d lost and what a difference it had made to their lives – they were like completely different people.
“Staying in shape is something that I have to work hard at myself and I know it’s not always easy, but from what I learned at the event Slimming World’s eating plan is such a great way to lose weight without feeling hungry
“I really feel the people of Diss are very lucky to have such a great support network on their doorstep.”
